Vancouver: A very furry take on the hockey jersey
No sane Canadian would deny that hockey is our game and I’ve gotta say that The Fursey (thefursey.com) is probably the most appropriate (albeit non-official) piece of merchandise I’ve seen so far. They’re produced by an American company who can take any jersey (even a Canadian red and white one, of course) and add a furry lining to make a Nanook of the North-meets-Olympic pride statement. Prices vary, and they’re only available in Vancouver until the games close on Sunday. I can’t think of a better way to cheer on the boys when they (fingers crossed) make it to the gold medal game.
