Accessories have been big catwalk news for the past few seasons. Think of the giant statement necklaces introduced two years ago, or last fall’s over-the-knee boots. One of this spring’s most talked-about pieces was a pair of alien-like shoes from Alexander McQueen–though to eyes that hadn’t seen them in a while, the season’s clutch of clogs seems just as outrageous.
