Fashion news: Gaga’s on the Telephone in a bedazzed bikini, the Hilfiger/Axl fight and Steve Madden for Madonna for Macy’s
The video for Lady Gaga‘s “Telephone,” featuring Beyoncé is out. In it, Gaga wears a gigantic black and white striped jacket and a bedazzled G-string bikini–in prison. Beyoncé’s outfits include a yellow latex dress with matching cowboy hat (and eyeshadow!). There’s more, obviously.
Model-turned-filmmaker Rie Rasmussen has beef with Terry Richardson and his approach to photography: “He takes girls who are young, manipulates them to take their clothes off and takes pictures of them they will be ashamed of.” Rasumssen ran into Richardson at a party and told him the same thing, in so many words; ”I told him what you do is completely degrading to women. I hope you know you only [bleep] girls because you have a camera, lots of fashion contacts and get your pictures in Vogue.” [The Cut]

Tommy Hilfiger has spoken out on his notorious fight with Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, saying “Axl pushed me [out of the way], and I said ‘that was rude’…He turned around and had a huge ring on. He wears all this jewellery. I’m thinking, if I get hit, it’s over. No teeth, no eye. So I hit him before he hit me”. Beauty=self-protection. [Vogue UK]

Toronto-based women’s site She Does The City is short an interview with fashion PR maven Kelly Cutrone after sourcing questions from their Twitter followers “for the wicked witch of fashion PR.” Cutrone responded: “@shedoesthecity ask her why she cancels interviews with people who call her a wicked witch” and “@shedoesthecity write your own piece_i am not giving you 10-15 minutes of my fucking precious time.” You can see the whole thing on the SDTC site. Millinaire Matchmaker host and real-life love guru Patti Stanger is moving the fourth season of the series from L.A. to New York and has already formed her opinion of why there are so many single women in the city, telling Vulture, “Honey, no one is going to pick you with your button-up shirt and your tank top.” Ouch.
