Model minute: Kimmy Foulkes
Name: Kimmy Foulkes
Agency: Sutherland Models
Where you’ve seen her: On the runway at LG Fashion Week in Toronto and in our Beauty 101: Bronzer and Self Tanner videos.
Who is your favourite designer?
“My favorite designer is Michael Kors because of his classic style. His designs look amazingly clean yet luxurious. I don’t think his clothes will ever go out of style.”
What was it like the first time you stepped on a runway?
“Right before my first time stepping on to the runway, I had butterflies in my stomach because I had no idea what to expect. As soon as I got out there they disappeared and I just had fun and enjoyed the moment!”
What beauty product can you not live without?
“I could not go a day without Clinique’s High Impact Mascara. I love how it opens up my eyes while still looking really natural.”
As a child, what was your dream job?
“Growing up my favourite movie was Free Willy, so of course my dream was to become a marine biologist. Anything to do with animals and the ocean would still be my dream job.”
What is a piece of clothing you bought but have never worn?
“Something I have bought but never worn is a pair of red Keds shoes. After buying them I realized that because of my big feet they reminded me of Ronald McDonald clown shoes…and I never wore them again.”
