According to a research paper, high end shoppers prefer a subtle trademark, rather than an obvious logo. Apparently, 87 per cent of sunglasses priced from US$100 to US$200 had  a logo compared to 28 per cent of sunglasses over $600. Looks like subtly is the new excess and SATC2 missed the boat.
