Wear a necklace, Save a Child’s Heart
Fashionable philanthropy is a great trend that isn’t going anywhere soon–who can argue with cute accessories that just so happen to be for a good cause? They latest is this sterling silver heart necklace, bedazzled with a bold coral bead. Designed by Beth Godfrey of Bejeweled by Beth, 50 per cent of proceeds go to the Save a Child’s Heart Foundation (416-324-9113, info@sachf.ca) If the name doesn’t say enough, Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) is an Israeli-based non-profit organization that focuses on giving sick under-privileged children around the world the cardiac surgery they need to survive. It’s kind of a wear-a-heart-to-save-a-heart kind of thing.
