I splurged on this baby right before starting my job here at FASHION, actually. Ironically, I’m not really a bag person, and it does feel a little too important for me, but I love it just the same. It’s the Balenciaga Papier tote, and I love it because of its simplicity, its smooth surface, and the fact that it’s different from just about any other Balenciaga I’ve seen people carrying around. It also fits my “indoor” shoes when I’m slugging around in winter boots through the slush which is kind of funny when you think about it. I can’t picture anyone else who would own a bag like this slugging anywhere.
