To avoid making any errors on the lace, cut out a pattern on scrap paper or fabric first. To do this, fold the paper or fabric in half. Draw a slightly curved line from the folded (closed) edge outward. This will be the neckline. Then, draw a 3” slightly angled line downward from the end of the curved line (this will be the width of your collar). Next, measure 3.5” downward from the start of the neckline (folded edge) and draw a parallel line outward from that point, connecting it to the angled line.
