New York: Zac Posen shows stripped-down sportswear for fall

ZAC POSEN Fall 2010. Photography by Peter Stigter
With a 9 a.m. time slot on a Monday morning, it’s clear that designer Zac Posen is toning down the theatrics and getting down to business–without sacrificing great style. Stand-outs in his fall lineup included a camel cape, ivy coloured wide-leg pants, flirty skater skirts, plenty of red velvet and one very elegant long-sleeve, dove grey dress. Then there were the furs, some sprouted from felt coats, others hung as sleeves, while still others circled models’ collars. Perfect for the pretty young things who will be wearing them come fall.
