Okay, while there’s a big kerfuffle going on at Roberto Cavalli (I ‘m hearing it’s over Lindsay Lohan, and Courtney Love) let me take a minute and think way back to see if I can possibly absorb all I’ve seen today and yesterday. Since I last blogged, I’ve been to showrooms, presentations and shows too numerous to list. Here  are some highlights:Seriously decadent ’70s  glam at Pucci. If you love more is more, this is the collection for you–one stunning navy gown combines lace, sequins, feathers, and fringe. Also: A new take on the bell bottom and the most sumptuous bags in Milan!

Gucci also had a  ’70s feel, but it was less boho and more slicked-up sportswear! Tons of gorgous blonde and camel tones and beautiful greatcoats!! I’m loving the strong ’70s daywear feeling that’s running through the collections this season.

Meanwhile, back at Cavalli, the paparazzi freak-out over Lindsay and Courtney subsided, and out prowled wildcat furs, brocades and enough leopard to say The Cat Came Back!
