Even if you’ve seen pictures of the clothes, this video of the Chanel Spring 2011 show is worth watching because it captures the size of the spectacle–the movement of the clothes and the models weaving around a manicured garden inside the Grand Palais. There are also post-show interviews with Claudia Schiffer, Leigh Lezark and Inès de la Fressange, who says of her appearance: “It’s nice for women to show that they don’t have to be perfect young beautiful models; that even a famous designer like Karl Lagerfeld can hire a granny.”
