Lovelies in Paris: Drape trou
You know what? We’re sort of over skirts (especially those of the mini variety when paired with opaque tights and studded sandals). We lurve pants right now (especially those of the drapey variety, which allow us to eat carbs without fear).

It seems that this lady is recession ready with her blacks and greys. My fashion compass has always steered me away from drapey pants, but when I was in New York, I tried on a pair of mens drapey pants that just made me look bottom heavy. This lady definitely does a great service to these leg protectors and I really like the way she rolled them up near the ankle, but alas, I am really unhappy with how she accessorized the look. It is as if she took the excess fabric from the pants and decided to make a purse out of it. I think this is one instance where “matchy matchy” (I cringe at using this terminology) does not work.
