Baby’s first Lagerfeld: The Kaiser designs a doll

How is it possible that Karl Lagerfeld has so much free time on his hands? Aside from designing his own line and the multitude of Chanel collections, it seems like every other day the man releases some ancillary project. Does he never sleep?

Anyway, today’s announcement comes in the form of a princess doll created for Parisian toy shoppe Au Nain Bleu. Proceeds from the 220 euro doll will go to support the Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Foundation, which helps fight social inequality through culture and education. There is also a 830 euro lace, silk and tulle girl’s dress that can be worn for some super-haute version of dress-up.
