Shopping
C’mon get happy

Despite the doom and gloom of our current economy, and maybe even because of it, I have been shopping…window shopping, that is. There’s nothing like peering through the looking glass into a world of shiny, happy pieces to make a girl forget her troubles. At least until the Visa bill arrives.
One of my favourite places to get inspired is Fabrice (Hazelton Lanes, 55 Avenue Rd., 416-967-6590, fabricetoronto.com). This gem of a jewellery store houses a mouthwatering selection of Parisian necklaces (shown, $1,175), earrings, bracelets and rings. Ah, those cocktail rings…je les aime! Don’t forget to play I Spy with the chic handbags and scarves that are stylishly scattered throughout the store. So my chic shoppers, make sure to drop in to Fabrice the next time you are in Yorkville. I’ll be the one singing, “How much is that diamond in the window?”
