How do you feel about high tops?

I’ve been staring at this photo of the new KangaRoos bright-white-and-neon Skywalkers ($85, kangaroos.com) for the last two weeks and I’m torn. I really don’t know how I feel about them.

On one hand, they seem more at home on someone wearing skinny jeans and going to ’80s nights on College St.  On the other hand, I sort of love them. I love the crazy neon and the little pocket where I can stow the house key I’m always leaving in my other purse.  I could never pull them off, but I’m happy to admire and be nostalgic for my neon pink and green L.A. I would wear these Magnolias ($80), however.

    Love the Magnolias. The Roos, though, remind me of grade-school knapsacks. Too junior for my taste — which is actually more junior than some. I’m in age denial. Then again, who isn’t? *grin*

    Totally love them, even though I don’t think I could pull them off, either. But it would definitely make staring at your feet on the subway a lot more interesting!

    I am also in age denial. Like I said–not sure i’d wear them, but they’re just so fun. There’s a plaid pair as well. Maybe I just want to be the person who can pull these off without looking dumb.

    I Love them!
    I used to have a pair of Roo’s…a longggg time agooo!
    I really liked the pocket in them.
    I would wear the high tops with jean shorts or mini with a bright colored tank top.

    I really like the High Top i just got some myself 2 day. and they’re REALLY comfortable. like without High Tops there really wouldn’t be a fashion statement to make because they can have all there different designs and people really like that.
    so pretty much there just like making new cloths or something because new designs come to mind every time you think about converse’s or High Tops for this matter…
    soo ya there just REALLY cool

    I absolutley love them, maybe it’s my way of never giving up on my youth, since they are the best way to dress those casual adult cloths down by still being kick ass, and also a way to look crazy sexy cool even in jean and a T. can’t live without them, the crazier the better, and tight pant are the way to go so you dont look overly frumpy.

    these ones kick it.

    I totally love them! any tween/teen/young adult could pull them off if they have the funky style. all you have to do is put on skinny jeans or leggings with a short-neon skirt and there you have it. you can wear any shirt-as long as it isnt just a plain color. If you like high-tops, you can pull them off with those simple steps-trustme. I’m a proffesiounal in style

    I love hi-tops!! I didn’t start wearing them until last summer, and when i came to school with them on everyone was complimenting me. People say they really look good with my legs! Now I wear them all the time!! Its the best thing that happened to me!!
