Neon revival

Photography by Setareh Sarmadi
They say if you lived through a trend the first time, don’t do catch on the second round. That’s probably true, but despite attending high school in prime neon years, I’ve developed a bit of the fashion victim’s addiction to this season’s sporty incarnation.
I tracked down a neon hairband (at the suggestion of our own Sarah Casselman. Send her your own style queries, won’t you?), to go with my new grey and bright orange sneaks. I found this one for $3.99 at Xcetera–it doesn’t pinch, has garnered me several compliments and keeps my hair out of my face as advertised. All that and it practically glows in the dark.

Just so long as you aren’t pairing it with an over-sized “Choose Life” t-shirt, I am fine with it.
So glad to hear. I couldn’t take an office shunning.
I’m loving the whole Neon trend – from hair pieces to dresses to Jellies. It adds so much to any outfit. Great article!
I love this hairband!
