There is nothing sexy about a pulled hamstring muscle.  I wish I could say that my injury stems from the half marathon I recently completed (if I had actually signed up, trained and ran). Oops. Sadly it appears to have originated from my weekly rotation of high heels. Scratch that–high hells. Needless to say, my interest in flats has skyrocketed to Audrey Hepburn proportions. My morning commute has become less about my BlackBerry and more about the bevy of ballets walking by: neon brights, peep-toes, nautical-stripes, crystal embellishment, basic black, jelly throw-backs… And while the odd Working Girl skirt suit / Reeboks combo might make an appearance power walking up Bay Street, the ballet flat is the new foot favourite among the commuter set.Check out our favourite flats!

i love those micheal kors flats.

sadly, i know they are probably very uncomfortable. my pair of MK flats were brutal to break in, however, i talked to one of the ladies at holt’s who said they were super comfy for her.

guess it just depends on your feet…

OMG, something I can actually buy at the Sheppard Centre! Those striped ones are super sweet.
