Fall into spring at the Mercy sample sale
I’m a big fan of the Canadian label Mercy—its simple, feminine silhouettes are always rendered in the prettiest, finest fabrics. So I popped by its sample sale, held at the studio of the brand’s lovely designers, Jennifer Halchuk and Richard Lyle, and left with a clutch of summery skirts, all in real Liberty cottons and wools (I’m talking to you, Target). The racks are filled with this season’s samples in sizes 2-8—many designs are still in stores—as well as overstock in more sizes from last fall, and plenty of pieces are priced under $100.
176 John St., Suite 501. Friday April 23 (today!) and tomorrow 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday April 25 noon to 5 p.m.
