Vancouver: Off the Wall is back with menswear and more
One of my trusty stops for cheap-chic trends is Off the Wall (748 Burrard St., Vancouver, 604-605-0314, offthewallclothing.com), so when the flagship downtown shop closed for renovations in late July, I had a mini-panic. Luckily, the closure only lasted 11 days and the refreshed boutique (the Metrotown store was also redone) now carries a small selection of men’s clothing, including classic Levi’s denim. I’m loving the new, more grown-up design aesthetic, especially the trompe l’oeil living room stencil near the changing rooms. To mark the celebratory occasion, I picked up a new pair of TOMs shoes and a fuzzy, oversized cardigan for fall by Hurley (shown, $85).
