Celebrate FNO with Toronto-based designer Monica Mei as she launches her label Aime’s first bricks-and-mortar boutique.
Cole Haan, 101 Bloor Street West
At Cole Haan’s shopping event, shoppers will get a chance to check out the brand’s latest sleek day-to-night pump, snack on treats and enter to win a sweepstakes.
Comrags, 812 Dundas Street West
Odessa Paloma Parker, the editorial director of Plaid Magazine and a stylist with Judy Inc., will be on hand at 8:30 p.m. offering styling tips. Snacks will be provided, and the fall 2012 collection will also be unveiled. Shoppers can check out the design process and inspiration for the collection, while also watching Parker remix the collection with her styling tips.
Fuzz Wax Bar, 701 Queen Street West
Fuzz Wax Bar‘s event will have special offers in-store, including a free eyebrow wax with the purchase of any retail product. The store will also be partnering with jewelry line Stella and Dot to host a trunk show and raffle.
H&M, 13-15 Bloor Street West, 218 Yonge Street (Toronto Eaton Centre), 3401 Dufferin Street (Yorkdale)
Stop by H&M as they officially launch their retro-inspired fall campaign starring Lana Del Rey. Get a sneak peek at the Fall 2012 collection and enjoy food and drinks while you browse. Shoppers will be treated to special deals all night long, with more surprises and details to be announced. The event runs from 6-11p.m.
Holt Renfrew, 50 Bloor Street West
Holt Renfrew is ringing in its 175th birthday with its “Hot in the City” street party, which will take place between 7 to 10 p.m.
Intermix, 130 Bloor Street West
Shop the latest designer collections from Intermix while being treated to the latest in beauty trends from Ilia Beauty. Food and cocktails will also be served, while a DJ spins the latest hits. The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
Juicy Couture, Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Sherway Gardens, Toronto Eaton Centre
Juicy Couture’s new fragrance Viva la Juicy la Fleur will be celebrated at the brand’s shopping event, with fragrance samplings and special offers in store available to shoppers.
Shops at Hazelton Lanes, Oval Square, Lower Level, 87 Avenue Road
Representatives from Maybelline and Redken will be on hand to give style and beauty advice while shoppers can enjoy refreshments and shop the latest looks from TFI and TNT. There will also be limited edition FNO tote bags available for $50. Those that spend more than $200 get a Fashion Cares 25th Anniversary book, and if you spend $500 or more you’ll be eligible to win VIP tickets to Fashion Cares on September 9th. 10% of all purchases will go towards the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the AIDS Committee of Toronto. From 6 to 11 p.m.
THE BAZAAR by RAC Boutique, The Burroughes Building, 6th Floor 639 Queen Street West
Stop in to THE BAZAAR, RAC Boutique‘s pop-up-shop, to browse and shop over 20 of Toronto top independent retailers, with items ranging from shoes to jewellery. The three-day shopping event launches on FNO, and will feature designs from Foe & Dear, Love of Mine, Magic Pony, Chloe Comme Parris, Gotstyle, Travis Taddeo and more. Snacks by PopChips, drinks from Vitamin Water, complimentary cocktails and music by DJs Famous Players will keep guests entertained, and there will also be a chance to win a pair of plane tickets from Porter Airlines. MasterCard cardholders will receive 15 per cent off on selected merchandise from 5 to 6 p.m. The FNO festivities will go from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., while Friday and Saturday’s shopping events run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Rooftop Above THE BAZAAR, The Burroughes Building, Top Floor 639 Queen Street West
After shopping at THE BAZAAR, make your way to the top of The Burroughes Building to enjoy more cocktails and enjoy a screening of the fashion film Dressed. Presented by Maybelline New York, the film focuses around the journey of clothing designer Nary Manivong and his dreams of showing his collection at New York Fashion Week. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
Toronto Eaton Centre, 220 Yonge Street
More than 25 retailers including The Gap and Victoria’s Secret will be open for extended hours for FNO. There will also be a fashion show in Centre Court featuring the latest looks from Stuart Weitzman, Juicy Couture and The Gap at 7:30 p.m. The event runs until 11 p.m.
Toronto Fashion Incubator Fashion Cares Shopping Soirée, Location TBD
Shop mens and womens accessories & apparel at the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) & Fashion Cares soiree. Spend over $200 and get a special Fashion Cares 25th anniversary retrospective book. Spend over $500 and be eligible to win two VIP Gala tickets to Fashion Cares on Sept 9th featuring Elton John (a value of $3,000), plus two VIP passes to the after party and two all-access event passes.
Yorkdale Shopping Centre, 3401 Dufferin Street
If you want to brush up on Fall 2012 trends, then check out Yorkdale mall. On top of extended shopping hours, you can join CityLine’s Tracy Moore at 6 p.m. for a fashion clinic in the center court, and at 8 p.m. hair and makeup artist Diana Carreiro will share the season’s top trends. Other noteworthy offerings include a preview of the Vintage Costume Exhibit that will be displayed during the upcoming Fashion Cares Gala.
