Events run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. PST, unless otherwise noted

Alberni pop-up shops, Alberni Street between Thurlow Street and Bute Street
Ishara, Lucky Brand Jeans and more will be setting up shop along the Alberni block-party. Join Ishara for special beauty bar offers, such as eyebrow threading from Bombay Brow Bar, while Jennyfleur Loves will be setting up a mobile fashion truck. Refreshments will be provided by The Urban Tea Merchant.

Bar None official after party of FNOV, 1222 Hamilton Street
Gastown nightclub Bar None will be the official party locale for all FNO revelers. The after-party will start from 10 p.m. and run until 1 a.m.

CBC fashion show, 700 Hamilton Street
With doors opening at 5:30 p.m., some of Vancouver’s best-known designers will be sending looks down the runway for a fashion show in the downtown core. Jason Matlo, Jacqueline Conoir and Daryle White are among the designers featured, while retailers such as Wear Else, French Connection Canada and more are set to contribute looks as well. The show will run from 6 to 7 p.m.

H&M, 609 Granville Street (Pacific Centre)
Stop by H&M as they officially launch their retro-inspired fall campaign starring Lana Del Rey. Get a sneak peek at the Fall 2012 collection and enjoy food and drinks while you browse. Shoppers will be treated to special deals all night long, with more surprises and details to be announced. The event runs from 6-11p.m.

M.A.C Cosmetics, 908 Robson Street
Pop into M.A.C’s Robson shop to get expert advice from makeup artists and get snapped by a photographer. Pick up a style seekers guide while you’re at it and map out the rest of your night!

Plum, Granville, West 4th and Lonsdale locations
Plum will all be ringing in FNO in three unique styles: brand designer Claudia Agusti will be on hand at the Granville location, an in-house style blogger will be helping out with styling tips at the West 4th location and all shoppers who spend more than $95 will receive a complimentary lace-trim camisole from any of the three locations.

Robson Shopping, Robson strip, from Burrard Street to Jervis Street
Robson’s famous shopping strip will be kicked up a notch as retailers including Bebe, Banana Republic, Gap and more provide shoppers with special offers, discounts and treats.

Stylista Clothing Co., #106-5071 Granville Street
Stylista’s fall 2012 arrivals will be unveiled in store and refreshments, food and a DJ will be on hand as well. Shoppers who spend more than $200 will receive a gift.

Tiffany & Co., 723 Burrard Street
Enjoy a canapé provided by nouveau-Japanese restaurant Ki in Tiffany’s luxurious Burrard Street location, which will be adjacent to the event’s Alberni pop-up shops.

    @Leah: Yeah, it was 2009 – a year after the markets crashed. The whole point of FNO was to get people to SHOP in a not-so-bright economy!
