The daily steal: Rope scarf, $35

Is it a necklace or a scarf? According to Montreal designer Kimberly Beattie, it’s a “rope scarf.” Beattie, who graduates from McGill this month, knits each one with love for her grass roots label called Mes Trois Soeurs ($35, mes-trois-soeurs.com). Whatever you call it, it’s cosy and soft and squishes up nicely if you need to zip it up under your winter parka.

I just bought two of them for x-mas presents (one in gray and one in black)…. they are so beautiful!
