Daily steal
The daily steal: Tie-dyed tank top, $25
Tie-dye was all over the Spring 2010 runways, at Blumarine, Proenza Schouler and Rodarte. And while I’ll have to covet these lovely designer items from afar (for now at least!), I have found a perfectly affordable (and adorable) alternative: American Eagle Outfitters’ racer back tank (ae.com). They’re ultra-soft and come in range of colours. The gray is perfect with skinny jeans and an olive military jacket à la Balmain, and the pink will evoke the ’70s when paired with frayed cut-offs and gladiator sandals for those far-off but nonetheless upcoming music festivals. And at $25 each, I can snap one up in each colour!
