Daily steal
The daily steal: Military-inspired cap, $20
Like leopard print, the military trend is one of those that seems to reappear without fail every couple of seasons, which means most of us has a jacket with epaulets or something camouflage print that we just have to dig out of our closets. What should stay in the closet, however, is your cadet hat: while these are semi-flattering, they still remind us more of frosted-tip boy band members than hot models on a runway. Opt instead for this wool cap from Winners ($20). It’s clean and minimal, and has a military-inspired feel without being too literal.
