One night stand

Toronto, decked out in all its holiday glory (this fashionable girl loves the blue-lit trees along King West), has been abuzz for days now with the impending arrival of screen idol Tom Cruise.
Not one to relax while traveling, Cruise is set to hit no less than five Canadian shows over a two day period (watch out for Cruise mania this week: The actor’s already appeared on MTV Live and MuchOnDemand and tonight he’ll be on ET Canada, eTalk and, my fave, The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos) What’s a boy to do when he actually has a few minutes to spare? Mr. Katie Holmes was spotted dining solo at One in the Hazelton Hotel last night. (No, Tom, the bodyguard that was watching over you does not count as a dinner companion.) Rest assured this Hollywood heavy weight wasn’t alone for long–Canadian director David Cronenberg soon joined him.Wonder if there’s a movie in the works?
Also spotted at One that same evening, Bryan Adams (who reportedly sought protection against a pair of stalkers recently) with long-time friend, Zoomer editor-in-chief Suzanne Boyd.
