Parties: Women X Women and Jezebel

Photography by Jeremy North-Lewis
Girls on film: Canadian model Coco Rocha, in head-to-toe Greta Constantine (fall, of course), sent flash bulbs into a frenzy on King Street on Thursday night when she arrived at the Women X Women party, held at the future home of the Fashion House condos. (One photographer even joked with the new redhead that she was looking better than Ms. Jolie.) Once inside, Rocha mingled with the fashionable set, including Much VJ Sarah Taylor, Greta’s Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong, Zoomer’s Suzanne Boyd, Glen Baxter, Toronto Star fashion editor Derick Chetty, rapper JDiggz and, of course, the photographers themselves, including Maja Hajduk, Zoe Bridgman and Alice Keith, there to display the finest in fashion photography shot by women.
After WXW, the party moved to an end of fashion week party and soft opening of Jezebel, a burlesque club opening on the newly haute Ossington strip. With a velvet rope back entrance, this intimate venue entertained the likes of Steven and Chris, Rex Harrington, Jeremy Laing and Fritz Helder and the Phantoms, who participated in a runway walk off to keep it all about fashion.
