Since moving to the ‘hood just over 6 months ago, this fashionable girl has been loving the fashionable events that take place on this side of Yonge Street. Even more so this week with soirees on back-to-back nights. Tuesday we were headed to the recently opened Jezebel on the hip Ossington strip where Joe Fresh and Rethink Breast Cancer were launching the latest incarnation of the cute bullseye tee.

Each one is only $12 (fashiontargets.ca) and is such a hot commodity that this fashionable girl’s shirt was swiped off her desk the day before the event. In between risqué burlesque dance routines on the Jezebel stage, we sipped some vino while chatting with the lovely Natalie Lecomte of Holt Renfrew, and the amazing Rock-It Promotions girls, and we spotted actors Kristin Booth and Amanda Brugel as well as Joe Mimran of Joe Fresh and the gorgeous Kimberley Newport-Mimran of Pink Tartan.

On Wednesday it was time to hit Queen West with an intimate gathering at Galerie Lausberg for the launch of Marika Brose’s stunning Fall 2009 collection. (Special thanks to Brose for re-introducing us to our old childhood fave, The Last Unicorn, which happened to be the inspiration behind the collection. This fashionable girl has already started reading the paperback version that was in our gift bag!) We were in awe of the pale grey party dress with velvet bodice and silk-tulle skirt, as well as the crystal sheath stunner, not to mention the glittering wire dress sculptures by artist Sophie DeFrancesca. We think we might have to purchase a Brose confection for our upcoming birthday festivities in June. Ah, to be fashionable!
