Watch this space: The TIFF red carpet is coming

Reason we want to be in New York tonight: Oscar de la Renta will be singing a duet with Barbara Walters at Saks tonight as part of Fashion’s Night Out.

Reason we’re pretty thrilled to be in Toronto: The Toronto International Film Festival. We were at the Hazelton Hotel this morning to watch the agents and PRs descend into the lobby wielding BlackBerrys, sunglasses and stress. Starting tomorrow, we’ll have coverage of the red carpet, plus styling videos, daily polls and party coverage. Our friends over at Toronto Life are already in full TIFF mode, so check in with them to find out where the Jonas Brothers went shopping and what Isabella Rossellini got up to with some paper fish.
