The war brings more worries to Downton Abbey this week—apparently times of turmoil are full of inappropriate relationships. From Branson and Lady Sybil to servant Ethel and one of the soldiers, everyone is looking for someone to love. And Granny? She’s just concerned that Matthew’s disappearance could result in a chimney sweep becoming the next heir.

Let’s take a look back at last night’s episode with the best and worst moments of the show! »

love the show, it keeps me on the edge of my seat

Paige, I thought for sure that you’d have some comment about Matthew miraculously reappearing and singing as he walks down the aisle to Mary.  Just a tad corny?

Bev – I agree, tad corny. If I wanted to see a scene break out in song n’ dance, I’d watch Glee. However, that look in Mary’s eyes made it all worthwhile….the love saga continues.

O’brien, the queen of curls? LOL I gotta give a hand to the actress who plays her because those curls are a character in itself. She quite a good looking lady in real life. (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/downtonabbey/season2_characters_finneran.html)

Once again Granny delivers the best lines in the show, all the while thumping her her walking stick. Love it:)

A little corny but also cute!! (So cute, in fact, that my boyfriend–who watched the episode a day later–had to text me “how did you not burst into tears at that scene?!” hahahahaha)

I cheered when Cora ‘rolled up her sleeves’ and set about to better organize the “soup kitchen” that the servants had started.
