In today’s edition of “what planet does Victoria Beckham live on?” the designer dishes to Harper’s Bazaar that her size 6 frame (which translates into an American size 2) represents the average woman. It gets better: Beckham’s design process includes using her own body as a stand-in for a dressform, in order to see how her creations will look on “anyone who isn’t a model.” She explains:
“We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever and then I say ‘Okay, I’m going to put it on. I stand for the general public here.’”
