Royally Obsessed
If you weren’t able to fly to London to see the Duchess of Cambridge cruise the Thames in McQueen, Ontario’s McMichael Canadian Art Collection will surely satiate your royal appetite. The Kleinburg, Ont., gallery is hosting Queen Elizabeth II by Cecil Beaton: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration (Sept. 29 to Jan. 13, mcmichael.com). On loan from the Victoria & Albert Museum, it’s a collection of portraits of the monarch captured by one of history’s most influential fashion photographers.
