Sally Shapiro: Remix Romance Vol. 2 (Paper Bag Records)
The world just can’t seem to get enough of this Swedish sweetheart. This is the second remix album out of Sally Shapiro’s 2007 debut Disco Romance (which we, like, covered and stuff before other people. Just sayin’).
Producers/Sally fans this go-round include the Russian Futurists, Dntel and Solvent. There’s even an offering from old-school disco producer Alexander Robotnick. The album’s digital pre-release also marks the launch of the virtual store for Canadian label Paper Bag Records, which also has digital-only releases in the works for Woodhands and You Say Party! We Say Die!
