Red carpet roundup: The best and worst of the Emmy Awards
January Jones took the biggest fashion dare on last night’s Emmy Awards red carpet. We went back and forth on her blue Atelier Versace–at first glance, we felt an initial and resounding “no,” to the short front and long train, but in light of all the navy and black and white column gowns, we’ve warmed to the idea. Favourites included Claire Danes’ stunning Armani Privé and Kyra Sedgwick’s grape-coloured Monique Lhuillier, while Anna Paquin’s Alexander McQueen had a stunning top half, but the short-long bottom was arguably the less successful of the evening’s two “mullet” dresses.
What were your favourite looks? Who needs a new stylist? Tell us in the comments!
