Red carpet
Celeb poll: Vote for your favourite Golden Globes look!
Colour was everywhere on last night’s Golden Globes red carpet. So much so, that we are seriously considering a mid-winter makeover. From the emerald green worn by Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Moss and Mila Kunis to the shades of bubblegum on Claire Danes, Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, the spectrum was covered at every point.
This year, it also seemed that the ball gown was eschewed – with the exception of a few knockout odes from Catherine Zeta-Jones and Olivia Wilde – for the sleek and sexy cutout lines on Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway and January Jones.
Between all of these visual delights, who do you think did it the best? View the full looks after the jump!

- Claire Danes was the height of minimalist glory in this bubblegum Calvin Klein Collection halter dress.
- The critics are up in arms about January Jones’ sexy Versace look. One thing’s for certain though. That gal’s got one heck of a bod.
- This year might be all about green, but Angelina Jolie has been rocking the colour for years. This time around, it was long and lean via Atelier Versace.
- Who knew newcomer Emma Stone would be fashion knockout too? We love her as a platinum blond in this creamsicle Calvin Klein backless t-shirt dress.
- Natalie Portman accentuated her baby bump in this unexpected – and perhaps a little lackluster – pale pink Viktor & Rolf satin dress.
- Keeping that emerald trend alive, Mila Kunis stunned in this one-shouldered Vera Wang gown.
- Dynasty in the front, party in the back, we love Anne Hathaway’s Armani Privé sleekly sequined look.
- Olivia Wilde’s Marchesa stunner was one of the few ball gowns on the red carpet.
- Kyra Sedgwick’s tangerine Emilio Pucci dress showed off all of her assets.
- Scarlett Johansson’s utterly romantic lace Elie Saab dress just screamed Old Hollywood.
- Julianne Moore was pretty in pink in Lanvin.
- Catherine Zeta-Jones did red carpet glamour right in this intricately molded emerald Monique Lhuillier gown.
