Sanrio (who blessed the world with Hello Kitty & co.) has teamed up with Dr. Martens to celebrate the Japanese brand’s fiftieth. The line of signature eight-hole boots will be decked out with the best of Sanrio–a perfect consolation for kawaii (i.e. cuteness) fans who cried over the Takashi Murakami + Louis Vuitton price tags. Rumours of a collaboration between Coach and (wait for it) JC Penney are circulating after Coach CEO mentioned it would be a possibility. The line won’t won’t technically be Coach–the accessories will be sold under a different name. [WWD] Read more »

We hope this rumour isn’t true: Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone have reportedly ended their relationship. It’s hard to tell at this point what’s real and what’s not, but both Jacobs and Martone have declined to comment. But they had such a great wedding cake… [The Cut]

A 13-minute film noir starring Agyness Deyn has just been released. Titled Mean To Me, the short flick is set in the 1930s with vintage-style gowns courtesy of Zac Posen. [StyleList]
Although Naomi Campbell reportedly struck again (sorry for the pun), no legal action will be taken. The supermodel was questioned by the NYPD after allegedly slapping and punching her driver, and slapped with a harrasment report, which doesn’t have any penalties or subsequent charges.
