We hope this rumour isn’t true: Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone have reportedly ended their relationship. It’s hard to tell at this point what’s real and what’s not, but both Jacobs and Martone have declined to comment. But they had such a great wedding cake… [The Cut]

Fashion news: Estrella Archs leaves Ungaro, Vera Wang + David’s Bridal, and Rodarte’s carnival game

The dusty Ungaro drama is far from settling, with the announcement today that Estrella Archs leaving the label. “Estrella Archs announces that she has left her job as chief designer of Emanuel Ungaro due to irreconcilable differences related to the creative direction of the brand,” a spokesperson for the designer confirmed. [Vogue UK]

Anna Wintour spoke at the Pratt Institute last night in a tribute to Irving Penn, and we got a glimpse into the softer side of the Vogue editor-in-chief, calling Penn a “seductive” man who she immediately had “an intellectual crush [on].”  She concluded her speech quite emotionally, saying “He made me a better editor. sept09readslohanOMG. The rumours were true–La Lohan has been appointed artistic advisor to the the house of Emanuel Ungaro. This news comes with the installation of Estrella Archs as chief designer for the label, replacing wünderkind Esteban Cortazar, who left the house amid swirls of the LiLo coming aboard.
