Judging by the action outside the tents at LG Fashion Week yesterday, a few definitive trends have carried on from the international shows, namely candy coloured hair, brights, a bit of Pradarama, and the addition of a new and weather-appropriate one: fur!

This fashion week, the style on the street (or rather, red carpet) outside of the shows was at times even better than what was being shown on the runway. Especially when captured by the lens of our prodigal street photog, Lewis Mirrett. Here are the last shots of what was captured from the last day of shows. Our favourite? The inimitable Jeanne Beker in an embroidered Christopher Kane biker jacket.

It’s the morning of the Chanel couture show and the Hotel Castille is jammed with Chanel press attachés from around the globe. Breakfast arrives late, and I gulp down tea and scrambled eggs before dashing off to the Chanel Fine Jewellery boutique in the Place Vendome.

According to Chanel fashion president Bruno Pavlovsky, haute couture is making its triumphant return after the recession. “We have new clients from Europe and the Middle East,” he says. “Today, we feel a new interest in haute couture.”[WWD]
