Natalia Vodianova appeared as a fairy in yesterday’s closing ceremonies, part of the Russian presentation for the Sochi 2014 games. The presentation also included performers in bouncy glowing orbs.
Christian Lacroix (the label–the man himself cut ties with the brand) is teaming up with various labels to launch four new product categories in hopes to get their profits back on track. Maternity leave has never seemed so short for models; Heidi Klum walked five weeks after giving birth to her daughter; Gisele was back on the runway six weeks later, and now Jourdan Dunn made her return yesterday at LFW 10 weeks after having a baby boy. Morning sickness didn’t stop a very pregnant Jourdan Dunn from walking the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier. The glowing model wore a padded cone bra with matching maternity plate, looking like a Roman soldier in her first catwalk appearance at the spring shows. [Fashionologie]
Heidi Klum is changing her last name to match her husband’s. Seal may be known to us solely by his first name, but the singer’s entire name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adelo Samuel.
