Gossip mag Hello! Canada rolled out the red carpet to let party attendees (mainly Canuck talent) play with reporters. We talked wardrobe with Noah Reid (Score: A Hockey Musical), Natalie Brown and Jonathan Keltz (Entourage). TIFF parties: Absolut’s parkade bash was light on Hollywood types, but heavy on golf cart rides
Rooftop parties really work better when it isn’t freezing, but the folks at Absolut, despite being able to project art installations onto neighbouring office towers, just can’t predict the weather. The young and hip gathered on the rooftop of a downtown parkade last night for the vodka brand’s TIFF fete. The art projections, by the way, were part of Canadian visual artists Kellen Hatanaka and Beside Herself‘s task to transform a plain ole rooftop into a full-fledged art party. Read more »

Twihards join Degrassi kids, Fefe Dobson and Bella’s dad at the New Moon premiere
Team Edward and Team Jacob came out for premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon at Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre last night. The crowd ranged from tweens in kitten heels and crinolines (Suri Cruise in five years) to TwiMoms in satin and sequins. The accessory of the evening wasn’t sparkly jewels reminiscent of Edward’s sun-touched skin, but feathered headpieces that were more posh than goth. But back to the boys!
