With its flirty clothes and cheeky decor accessories, Anthropologie (2130 de la Montagne St., anthropologie.com) brings out my playful side. Adding local flavour to this brand new location are designs from Montrealer labels Noémiah, Tamé and Elaine Ho.

Spotted: Coming in from the cold

Wearing: A scarf by Janie Besner, coat from Urban Outfitters and boots from shoe store Scarpa in Montreal.

Why: That statement-making scarf stopped us in our tracks! We loved the unusually feminine, frilly twist on a bold buffalo plaid.

Next it was off to a semi-secret location, the Roots store in Rosedale (surprise!). Those smarty-pants Society girls picked the perfect venue for a little upper-crust-at-the-cottage evening—the shop was all plaids, cozy furniture and piles of birch logs.
