Reality star Kim Kardashian showed off a new hairstyle this weekend: bright bright red. Okay, the titian tint was temporary—a necessary part of the star’s Poison Ivy Halloween costume. And while the red wig looks about as real as a plotline on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it got us thinking. Is it time for Kim to grab the dye bottle and change up her look, joining Rihanna and Blake Lively in their newly-redheaded ranks?

For the past few weeks, we’ve been hearing little buzzes about Duchess Kate being featured in Vogue. The magazine’s been in hot pursuit of the young royal, and have reportedly been hoping that Mario Testino’s close relationship with the Royal family, having shot of the Duke and Duchess’s engagement photos, would help the connection.
Alas, the rumours can now be put to rest, as the Queen has made it clear that she is not for it. A palace aid has told various sources that the Queen “would definitely not be amused,” if Kate decided to model. All sources seem to say that Kate will stick to philanthropic projects that will make a larger difference in the lives of those in need. Take that, Anna.
But aren’t they going after the wrong Middleton? With Pippa hot on the scene as of late (she recently sat front row at Alice Temperley’s Spring 2012 show), she could be just the willing fashion icon the doctor ordered.

I’m toying with the idea of dying my blonde hair bright Rihanna-red. If I don’t end up liking it, is it too damaging to change right back?
Both at-home and salon-grade dyes that colour your hair “permanently” contain ammonia and other chemicals that change the pH balance in your hair, resulting in a damaging loss of moisture. We’d rather you err on the side of caution and use a non–chemical based dye instead. It’s better for your hair and for you, in general, and allows for more flexibility in impromptu colour creativity. Meaning: The Italian Renaissance painter (c. 1488) known for naturalistic colour, realistic brushwork and versatility. He painted portraits, landscapes and religious images equally well—but in colour lexicon, he’s remembered for one thing: the auburn colour he painted. The term “titian” refers to a natural, though not usual, shade of red found in hair—famously created by the artist. He loved redheaded honeys like nobody’s business.
