Quotable: Roberto Cavalli will have sex 15,000 more times before he dies

Comments

In a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily upon the opening of his first Japanese boutique, the 70-year-old Italian designer affectionately shocks us again:

“I’m young. I have another 50 years of life,’ he said before going on to perform a mathematical equation and estimating that he will have sex another 15,000 times before his demise.”

Comments

While animal prints—leopard, zebra, snake—never really go out of style, this season we’re dealing with a whole other beast… literally. The collection mixed a new silhouette of short cropped jackets layered over long skirts and dresses, or, sometimes, over shorter skirts and narrow pants. With sheer fabrics, turban hats, flat sandals, a ruffle here and sequins there, Mr. Armani had his audience enraptured. (George Clooney in the front row didn’t hurt.)

Calm seemed to be the word of the day. Read more »

Fashion news: Kate Moss speaks, Madonna to launch lingerie, and US Airways loses lots of vintage Gucci

Comments

It’s always a treat to hear models speak. One who rarely seems to chat for the cameras is Kate Moss, so it’s a double treat to hear her talk about her collaboration with Longchamp, what keeps her grounded and her most poignant fashion moment. [Jezebel]

Yesterday at an event at Macy’s for Lourdes’ Material Girl line her mama Madonna revealed plans to launch a workout and lingerie collection for adults. [WWD] Read more »
