The Vancouver 2010 Olympics open officially tonight and we’ll be keeping you up to speed on the stylish side of the games–the celebs, parties, opening ceremonies outfits and more–at our Olympics hub on fashionmagazine.com/olympics. Bernadette Morra and Rebecca Tay will be filing regular reports, plus we’ve got to-the-minute updates from our favourite tweeters and where to eat and shop if you’re lucky enough to be in Vancouver and Whistler.

And we can’t forget that other Olympic event–New York Fashion Week. Sarah Casselman and Lesa Hannah are embedded at the tents and we’ll have show reports, backstage beauty, street style and video from the shows. Check back over the weekend!

Dsquared’s Dean and Dan Caten wore tuxedos for their torch run

Dan and Dean Caten with Jeanne Beker after the torch run. Note the tuxes.

The Olympic torch is officially in Vancouver! This morning, Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared ran it a distance of 300 meters each along Mount Seymour Parkway in North Van. Asked if they did any training to prepare for the run, Dean said he ran a bit on the treadmill, and Dan said he “ran with a bottle of Jack Daniels!” My favourite part: The twins’ “James Bond peel-down,” which revealed dapper bow-ties and tuxedos (and apparently, later on, Dsquared underwear) under their Olympic garb!

You know, it’s not very often we get any worldwide exclusives up north of the 49th, but Marc Jacobs has thrown us a bone with this adorable Marc by Marc Jacobs winter sports tee. (Is he getting into the Olympic spirit?) The T-shirt ($65) is 100 per cent exclusive to Holt Renfrew and it’s limited edition–i.e. get ‘em before they’re gone.
