Toronto street style: Hot Coco
Coco Rocha swept into Toronto Fashion Week last night to give the opening remarks. (She’d already graced the Greta Constantine runway the previous week.) Though she later appeared–new husband James Conran in tow–in a green Greta frock, earlier in the evening she sported one of the season’s biggest trends–the Chewbacca-esque furry jacket–and paired it with cigarette jeans, black stiletto boots and a graphic tee.

Street style: Shine on
We snapped this streeter at the Ezra Constantine garden party, where the shimmering gold and silver circles of her dress made us think the stars were coming out early.

Street style: Easy, breezy in an all-black onesie
We spotted this Lovely working the door at the Ezra Constantine launch and immediately had to know where she picked up this jumpsuit. Surprise answer: Jacob. This all-black ensemble further proves the timeless elegance of the “colour” black. It’s like she’s not even trying, it looks like she was born wearing this silky outfit, complete with subtle jewellery and bow-tied sandals. Well played. Read more »

Street style: Same difference
If great minds think alike, then these friends with flair certainly had black and beige on the brain. At first glance, I thought they were so matchy-matchy that they must have coordinated. Street style: Safety first
We spotted this week’s Lovely at last night’s Ezra Constantine launch. And while the mixed textures of her all-black outfit are anything but basic (check the little velvet bows on the shoes), it’s her necklace, which she made herself from leather and safety pins, that really makes this look sing. (Turns out she also helped craft the Ezra presentation’s mixed-media accessories.)

Street style: Peachy keen
Looking young, yet professional is tough line to tread–especially in the sticky summer months when stockings and lots of layers aren’t an option. Our streeter pairs a playful shirtdress with mannish monk-strap shoes and an all-business blazer. It’s casual-Friday appropriate, but the short hemline keeps the look from veering into the doldrums.
