Packed about 3 days worth of shows and re-sees into today so forgive me if I’m a bit loopy! One thing’s for sure– jet lag is a luxury I can’t afford to indulge in, but my bed is calling me so here are just  a few morsels before I call it a day:

Cranky buyers and editors are  complaining bitterly  about the (even) shorter Milan schedule–its actually nuts, even for a fashion crazed high-energy type-A like me!

From early-morning dominatrixes at Dsquared, all the way through to futuristic tartans at  Jil Sander tonight,  it was run run run. I think next season I’ll need a chopper. Read the rest of this entry »

Fashion news: Jason Wu sunglasses, American Apparel wants you(r bum) and Alexander Wang’s poster campaign

Jason Wu is launching a sunglasses collection to be sold exclusively at Modo, a high-end eye wear store in New York. [Refinery29]

Versace’s reorganization plan for the company has been approved, including giving the pink slip to 25% of its workforce starting in March and ending in June. The company hopes to be back on its feet and and profitable by 2011. [Vogue UK] Read the rest of this entry »

Fashion news: Georgia Jagger named face of Versace

It seems to be a popular move among offspring of The Rolling Stones to try a hand at modelling. Georgia May Jagger has recently been named the freshest new face of Versace. After landing a Vogue UK cover and a Rimmel contract all before the tender age of 17, Jagger’s graduation to the design mogul is the ideal stepping stone in what appears to be a long-lasting career. Fashion news: Gaga crashes McQueen show, LiLo’s leggings winner and Chanel’s barnyard

When Lady Gaga announced, via Twitter, that Alexander McQueen would premiere her new single at his Spring 2010 show, streamed live yesterday afternoon, the swarm crashed the servers and we all ended up watching the show in choppy slo-mo. All the better to catch a glimpse of the 10-inch heels. [The Cut]
