Get the video play-by-play of Coco Rocha’s wedding

Coco Rocha‘s wedding to James Conran–a once secretive affair–has now been demystified, thanks to the internet and this video–a short film directed by Gilbert Le. What was the castle like? More importantly, what were the desserts like? How about the steaming of her wedding dress? Putting on her makeup? Vows? First dance? How about a score that includes Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”? It’s all there in this 18-minutes long for-die-hards-only peek. (There’s a 3:41 minute version for the casual observer at Oh So Coco.)

STOP THE PRESSES!

Now, two months after Coco Rocha married James Conran, she’s finally, FINALLY tweeted a full-length photo of the wedding dress. We knew it was Zac Posen, and we knew what the top half looked like, but behold the mermaid skirt in all its glory. Thank you Coco, for putting us out of our misery.

Marc Jacobs did sort of have a wedding in St. Barths

Remember when Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone got married in St. Barths? But then they said they didn’t? That it was just an engagement party? Well, guess what? It really was a wedding. Sort of. There’s still paperwork. Martone told Butt magazine:

In the end, we just had an intimate ceremony at a friend’s house with people who were already on the island. Although the official wedding documents won’t be signed till later this year, so legally we’re not married yet.

But we bet you’re wondering, What does Robert Duffy have to say about all this? Duffy took to Twitter to answer what must have been a deluge of questions as to Jacobs’ marital status. Read more »

The reason Rachel Zoe was tweeting from St. Barths all weekend (because we know you’re dying to know): a wedding! Marc Jacobs and his partner, Lorenzo Martone, tied the knot. The reception was hosted by art dealer Larry Gagosian and featured what is likely the world’s only instance of a cake topper depicting a bare-chested man sporting a kilt and a SpongeBob tattoo. Congrats to the happy couple! [Stylexperts, via The Cut]

Update: A rep for Jacobs told US Magazine: “Someone had a party for them, but there was no wedding. They are still engaged.” The cake topper is still awesome, though. [US, via Fashionologie]

Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone have pushed their highly, hotly anticipated nuptials to August, citing MJ’s work schedule. So now we’re going to have move our whole vacation around. [WWD]

Want to see Karl Lagerfeld’s barn in Vermont? Apparently, it will be making an appearance in Chanel’s fall campaign. Do you think he keeps livestock in there? A cache of Diet Coke? So many questions… [Fashionologie]

The discussion of men’s brows continues. James Dean comes in at number 2 on this list, after Robert Pattinson. What? And why is Zac Efron there? And unfortunately for Janine at BeautyGeeks, the Rock didn’t make the cut. This is clearly a hot-button issue. [Beauty Blogging Junkie] Read more »
