It must be mighty cold in London right now, because today Kate Middleton recycled another outfit from Christmas of last year. The eggplant-purple coat was last seen on Christmas morning, when the Duchess wore it to the royal family’s holiday church service Sandringham. This morning, however, she accessorized the coat in much the same style as she did yesterday: with a wide Alexander McQueen belt, black tights and her black suede Aquatalia by Marvin K boots. She did however swap out the green amethyst Kiki McDonough earrings for her citrine drop pair. Read more »

Kate Middleton sings along to Monty Python while recycling another look at the Olympic closing ceremony
Amidst the excitement of The Spice Girls reunion and the gold-on-gold (on gold) Brit model spectacular at last night’s Olympic closing ceremonies in London, our eyes, as usual, were firmly planted on dear Duchess of Cambridge. Attending alongside Prince Harry to represent the Royal Family, Kate spent the evening in typically good-natured form singing along to the many famed Brit tunes by George Michael, Take That, One Direction and even Eric Idle of Monty Python. In similarly typical form, Kate dropped the Team GB polo she sported mid-games and opted for another old faithful: the dotted-blue Whistles “Bella” dress she wore earlier this summer to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert. It was lucky for us to get a second look given that we never got a good look at the concert, and y’all know how important those are to us! As for the rest of the ensemble, Kate carried her Anya Hindmarch “Maud clutch” which bears a custom embroidered “C” for Catherine and wore the custom Kiki McDonough diamond and topaz earrings she’s been spotted with all summer long.

Mark those calendars! We’ve got Kate Middleton’s entire Olympic schedule (and 13 Brit-designed outfits we’ve predicted she’ll wear to each event)
Feel free to make fun of us, kids. Our Olympics excitement coupled with our usual Kate Middleton freak-outs are going to be particularly out of control for the next three weeks. Alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, Kate’s going to be making a reported 30 Olympic-related appearances over the next few weeks as an Olympic Ambassador, and we’ve got them all tattooed on our foreheads.
Since we’re sure that Kate will wear nothing but Brit wears all Olympics-long, here are some wardrobe predictions for her upcoming appearances.

The best photo we could find of Kate from the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert (plus complete wardrobe details!)
Well, this is upsetting. After a day of searching, we’ve only been able to come up with this pretty vague photo of what Kate wore to Monday night’s Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace. Thousands of ticket winners crowded the stands around the gilded statue of Queen Victoria to hear royal serenades by the likes of Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue, and in the Royal Box, Kate waved the Union Jack while wearing a blue dotted Whistles (it’s already sold out) dress, a black belt and a simple Alexander McQueen coat. This is the best picture we could find, so let’s all just hope she wears it again so that we can get a better look.
We present your complete guide to everything Kate Middleton/Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge/the Future Queen of England has worn since officially becoming destined for the throne. From now on, we’ll be updating this post every time we spot our princess, so be sure to keep coming back! In the meantime… what are you waiting for!

Kate Middleton‘s latest style gauntlet–the royal engagement photos–was thrown down over the weekend, which means that yes, there will be a whole new spate of Kate-inspired merch. In the photos, which were taken by Mario Testino, Middleton had the audacity to wear things that she already owned: a two-year-old cream blouse from Whistles and the £159 “Nanette” dress from Reiss–both UK-based high street chains. But don’t think that just because they’re not in stores anymore that you can’t buy them. Heavens no–don’t be silly! Read more »
