What are you wearing this Valentine’s day? “My Poison Love Dress. It is very Mad Men, martinis and steak.”

What is the best Valentine’s gift you have ever received? “My most precious little girl, Violet. She was born on Feb. 13, close to midnight. I begged the doctor to keep her in just a little longer so she could have a Valentine’s birthday.”

What is your favourite romance novel? “Love in the Time of Cholera is one of the most sensuous, haunting, really romantic books. You’ll never think of almonds the same way again. Just don’t watch the film.”
