DESIGNER: Kalam Lee
LABEL: Malak by Kalam Lee

What kind of woman do you see wearing this look?
“[I see] a confident woman who is still a child at heart, a woman who appreciates craftsmanship and quality, a woman who feels extremely feminine, who wants to be pretty and stand out at parties.”

What was your inspiration behind this collection?
It’s as if all of a sudden I felt more light and magical, probably because I’ve been looking at a lot of children’s storybooks and illustrations from the Victorian era during the development of the collection. It definitely is reflected in the dresses.”
