With the resurrection of ’70s stalwarts Halston and Ossie Clark, it was only a matter of zeitgeist inevitability that we would see the groovy aesthetic of that particular decade on the runways. And voila! ’Tis the season to be a gap-toothed Lauren Hutton (or a young Jerry Hall) as an army of luxe boho hippies, caftans, maxi dresses, bell bottoms, palazzo pants, jumpsuits, safari jackets, and long and lean pant looks imbued the catwalks with a “What, this old key party?” vibe. As MJ—as in Michael Jackson—says: Don’t stop ’til you get enough.
